Scampi

Dawnfresh sources scampi from the deep coastal waters of Scotland, Northern England and Ireland, all wild caught by local trawler men, mainly from small day boats. Dawnfresh takes pride in being part of a sustainable local fishing industry.

Langoustines (scampi) are the only shellfish species managed through the Common Fisheries Policy, and Dawnfresh works closely with UK, Scottish and Irish authorities and fishing organisations to ensure sustainability and responsible fishing.

Trout - Whole Fillets & Added Value

Dawnfresh is the UK's largest trout producer and is committed to the highest ethical standards. Its product portfolio includes trout fillets, portions, large wholefish, boneless portions, fishcakes and an innovative range of value added products. As a leading food company, Dawnfresh supplies fish to UK's major retailers, the foodservice sector and specialist fishmongers. Its fish are predominately reared in the Scottish Lochs and spring fed ponds.

Warmwater Prawns
Dawnfresh sources King Prawns (Penaeus Vannamei) for both multiple grocery and foodservice from       South East Asia, particularly Indonesia. There it works with the Aquaculture Certification Council, a non-governmental body established to certify social, environmental and food safety standards at aquaculture facilities. Its prawn capabilities include raw, cooked, peeled, flavoured and breaded.

The RR Spink and Daniel's brands continue to thrill consumers and Dawnfresh is proud of the expertise that has been passed from generation to generation to ensure a unique product offering which has built an international reputation.

RR Spink is synonymous with the famous Arbroath Smokie. While this only accounts for a small proportion of sales, the core business is producing premium, Arbroath Smoked, ready to eat, fish delicatessen smoked products comprising trout, salmon, mackerel and premium kipper fillets.

Daniel's produces award winning, high quality roll-mop herrings, marinated sweet herrings, skinless herring fillets and cockles and mussels in a variety of pickles and sauces.
